چکیده

Statistical channel models are presented for a frequency selective vehicle-to-vehicle or mobile-to-mobile wireless communications link in an expressway environment in Atlanta, Georgia, where both vehicles travel in the same direction. The models were developed from measurements taken using the direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) technique at 2.45 GHz. The models imply a non-separable channel with a persistent Rician behavior across multiple model taps. Copyright © 2006 IEEE. This material is posted here with permission of the IEEE. Narrowband and wideband radio channel characteristics in underground mining environments at 2.4 GHz

Abstrac -This paper presents comprehensive experimental results obtained from narrowband and wideband radio channel measurements in an underground mine with narrow veins at 2.4 GHz. From CW measurement data, large-scale distance-power curves and path-loss exponents of the environment are determined. Other relevant parameters such as, mean excess delay, maximum excess delay and rms delay spread ...

UWB Channel Modeling Based on Wideband Indoor Channel Measurements at 2.4, 4.75, and 11.5 GHz

Using the wideband indoor channel measurements data at 2.4, 4.75 and 11.5 GHz of [1], a statistical Ultra Wide Band (UWB) channel model is determined. Employing different windows (i.e. Rectangular, Hanning and Blackman-Harris), the impulse response model for the UWB channel is obtained and accordingly, major channel parameters such as path loss exponent, shadowing, root mean square (rms) delay ...

Development of Model and Algorithm for Depot Balancing Multi-Depot Vehicle Scheduling Problem Considering Depot Balancing

The main of multi-depot vehicle scheduling problem (MDVSP) is to schedule the timetabled trips using limited resources, optimally. The problem is very important in the management of the transportation systems. One of the most useful ways to better manage these systems is to consider the real conditions including depot balancing constraints. To normalize the number of vehicles departed from each...

A Platform for At-Scale Wideband UHF MU-MIMO Systems

We present a Multi-User MIMO (MU-MIMO) array utilizing the Wideband UHF Radio daughter-Card (WURC), a new open platform for at-scale MU-MIMO transmissions in the UHF band up to 1 Watt over up to 28 MHz of programmable channel bandwidth. Using this platform, we demonstrate an application that measures and displays wideband MU-MIMO channel estimates and capacity for both UHF and 2.4 GHz WiFi chan...

Wideband indoor channel measurements and BER analysis of frequency selective multipath channels at 2.4, 4.75, and 11.5 GHz

Results from propagation measurements, conducted in an indoor office environment at 2.4, 4.75, and 11.5 GHz, are presented. The data were obtained in small clusters of six measurements, using a coherent wideband measurement system. The channel characteristics for the three frequencies are compared by evaluating path loss, rms delay spread, and coherence bandwidth. An analytical model for evalua...
